Alevtina Dikiy was born in Astrakhan, Russia. She received her education there and lived there before moving to the USA. Alevtina began her work at the New Song School in 1994 as a member of the musicians team which started this school. As a pianist she was raised according to the traditional principles of Russian methods of piano teaching, called ”Russian Music School” and now she uses these methods in her teaching career. She finds the way into the heart of any student and has perfect work references. Alevtina is a very talented performer. When she performs solo, or with other musicians in the church, people always enjoy her playing. She is great in accompaniment and improvising; church leaders are always happy with her work.
